How to reach the pass

As always, the fastest way is by motorway.
For your own safety, we hardly need to remind you to be careful… right!?

Coming from the south or southeast… from the direction of China, so to speak

From Carrodano, join the SS1 Aurelia and climb towards the Passo del Bracco. The road crosses the Ligurian hinterland and winds through a series of bends as it approaches the summit.

Coming from the north or northwest… from the direction of France

From Sestri Levante, take the SS1 Aurelia towards La Spezia. The climb to the Passo del Bracco is about 15–16 km long, with bends, hairpin turns and glimpses of the Ligurian coast.
